Refunds & Cancellation Policy
Effective 2 July 2026
1. Billing & your statement
Payments for Inkveil are processed by our authorized third-party payment processor, who acts as the merchant of record. Charges may appear on your card or bank statement under the payment processor’s billing descriptor (for example beginning with the processor’s name) rather than “Inkveil.” If you do not recognize a charge, you can look it up and manage it directly through the processor’s consumer support portal, or contact us at support@inkveil.ai and we will help identify it.
2. Subscriptions & auto-renewal
Paid plans are recurring subscriptions. The price and billing frequency (monthly) are shown clearly before you purchase, and your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current paid period — you keep access until then, and you are not charged again. Cancelling does not refund the current period. To cancel:
- Use the “Manage subscription” option in your Inkveil account, or
- Manage or cancel directly through the payment processor’s consumer support portal (a link is provided in your purchase-confirmation email and on your statement descriptor), or
- Email support@inkveil.ai and we will action it.
3. Veils (virtual currency)
“Veils” are a virtual, in-app currency used for certain premium features. Veils are a one-time purchase of a digital good that is delivered immediately to your account. Because they are delivered and can be spent instantly, purchased Veils are non-refundable once credited, except in the circumstances in Section 4. Veils have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money.
4. When we do issue refunds
We want charges to be fair. We will review and, where appropriate, refund in cases such as:
- Duplicate charges or an obvious billing error.
- Unauthorized transactions you did not make.
- A technical failure on our side that prevented you from receiving what you paid for (e.g. a purchase that charged but did not deliver).
- A subscription charge for a renewal you can show you had already cancelled.
Requests for the above are best raised within 7 days of the charge so we can investigate quickly. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
Cryptocurrency payments.Crypto transactions are irreversible by design, so purchases made with cryptocurrency cannot be refunded to the original payment method. Where a refund case above applies to a crypto purchase, we'll make it right in service credit (e.g. Veils or pass time) instead.
Pricing errors. If a product or plan is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to a typographical or technical error, we may cancel the order; if you were already charged, we refund the full amount.
5. How to request a refund
Email support@inkveil.ai with the charge date, amount, and the email on your account (and, if you have it, the payment reference from your confirmation email). We aim to respond within 2 business days. You may also raise billing questions through the payment processor’s consumer support portal.
6. Chargebacks
If something looks wrong, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback for a charge you recognize and authorized, instead of requesting a refund or cancellation, may result in your account being suspended.
